Collecting Antique Judaica opens a "window" to the fascinating world of our ancestral rituals, customs and ceremonies. Practically every ritual connected to our Holidays, our daily religious practices, or the Jewish life cycle requires the use of some ritual object.
Due to the vicissitudes of the times, practically no ritual object has survived from before the 16th century. But from the 17th century and especially from the 18th century on, we do have a fair representation of these objects. By acquiring them you will also gain knowledge of the historical and artistic background of the pieces. We will elaborate on this subject in more detail in the future, when dealing with each separate category of Antique Judaica.
In the field of Arts, Paintings and related arts and crafts, we can offer a nice selection from well known artists to lesser known ones. Early printed and illustrated books, from Hagadot to Bibles, manuscripts and graphics will be part of our presentation. Please follow our website...perhaps we will be able to amuse you, or be of some help in acquiring some of these delightful pieces of art.
